It takes a lot to break away from the day job these days to write on my personal site, but today’s google doodle (yes that’s what they call them) has the office talking, People on Twitter twittering about it, it’s been Digged, facebooked etc.
And even me writing about it, WHY?
Something that started off back in 1998 has grown and grown!
The main doodler is Dennis Hwang who is googles international webmaster and also has an degree in Arts and Computer Science so you can see why he was picked.
Besides educating users to the fact that it’s Edward Munch’s birthday and here is some of his fantastic paintings to look at, they get people talking!!
What can you do for practically zero cost that gets people talking about you on twitter, facebook and in an office?
OK so google has a slight advantage having a huge share of the search market and set as the majority of home pages around the world but if you put your mind to it you can come up with something that gets people talking!
